Bilingual English Spanish Phlebotomist
$17.75 - $26 per hourLabcorp
Labcorp seeks a bilingual English-Spanish phlebotomist for a Washington, DC laboratory location. The role involves collecting blood specimens, processing patient data, and providing customer service Monday through Friday afternoons, with Saturday shifts as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections across all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately and timely
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and process billing information
- Provide superior customer service and perform administrative duties as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience
- Bilingual English Spanish fluency
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Compensation: $17.75 - $26.00 per hour
