Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' mental health needs and create comprehensive treatment plans tailored to their individual circumstances.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and detailed progress notes, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Collaborate closely with the clinical director to perform chart audits, reviewing and approving individual and group therapy notes.
\n
• Foster and maintain positive, professional relationships with students, their families, colleagues, and school staff, promoting an integrated approach to mental health care.

• Participate actively in staff meetings, clinical supervision, and training sessions, contributing to a culture of learning and shared best practices.

• Engage in quality improvement initiatives, utilizing feedback and data to enhance the efficacy and service quality of the clinical care provided to clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves students in a school setting, ranging from elementary to high school ages, who face mental health challenges or are at risk of emotional or behavioral disorders. You will work with adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other related issues, employing evidence-based treatment techniques designed to facilitate positive growth and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling from an accredited program is required.

• Must possess a valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in the state of California.

• Minimum of three (3) years of direct clinical experience in addiction treatment, dual diagnosis, or mental health counseling is essential.

• Strong clinical skills combined with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities are critical.

Compensation and Benefits\n
