Assistant Controller / Controller | Downingtown, PA **This opportunity is 5 days/week on-site** Are you a CPA with both public accounting and industry experience who is ready to take the next step in your career? I’m working with a well-established, growing manufacturing organization that is looking to add an accounting leader to its team. This is an exciting opportunity for a current Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, or Controller who wants meaningful visibility with executive leadership and the opportunity to grow with a private equity-backed company. Compensation: Up to $150K-$160K base + substantial bonus Schedule: 5 days/week onsite CPA Required Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, payroll accounting, and treasury support Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process Prepare and review consolidated financial statements across multiple entities Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, accounting policies, and internal controls Manage the annual audit process and serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors Partner with executive leadership to provide financial analysis and insights that support business decisions Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning Identify and implement opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiencies Support accounting integration related to acquisitions and other strategic initiatives Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Operations, Manufacturing, Sales, HR, and Executive Leadership What we're looking for: CPA with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience MUST have a combination of public accounting and private industry experience Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting Experience with month-end close and financial reporting Experience mentoring and developing accounting staff Strong Excel and ERP experience Manufacturing or industrial experience is a plus Inventory/cost accounting and multi-entity reporting experience are highly valued Exposure to M&A, acquisitions, integrations, or process improvements is a plus Why consider this opportunity?
