Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - 2 years Respiratory Therapy (Resource Team); IPPV/NIPPV ventilator experience.

Unit Details: - Will provide respiratory care for all patients throughout the facility, including ED, ICU, PCU, and Gen Med floors.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. - Travelers will work 75% of holidays. - No call.

Floating Requirements: - Will be required to float per region needs as needed within scope of practice to Region 1 facilities: Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, any freestanding ED within the region, and Central Division (CMC Main, Mercy, and LCH; peds only at LCH).

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
