Overview
Occupational Therapist – General, Clearlake, California, United States. Start date 09/14/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Weekly pay range $2,387 to $2,524. Shift: 5x8 days, typically 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Work setting: Critical Access Hospital. This is a travel - temporary assignment.

- Setting: General occupational therapy in a Critical Access Hospital with outpatient focus and some acute inpatient coverage Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive OT evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients.
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions primarily in outpatient settings, with selective inpatient coverage as needed.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and document outcomes in the medical record in a timely, compliant manner.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team, including discharge planning, to support functional goals and safe transitions of care.
- Educate patients and families on home programs, adaptive equipment, and strategies to optimize daily living activities.
- Ensure patient safety, adhere to regulatory standards, and maintain professional competencies and licensure requirements. Requirements
- California licensed Occupational Therapist (CA OT)
- Current BLS certification
- At least two years of recent experience in the field
- Ability to work in both outpatient and acute inpatient settings as needed
- Must be eligible for a CA OT license and able to work the listed day shift Benefits and Support
