Regional Dental AssistantDental Care Alliance is looking for a Regional Dental Assistant in Connecticut to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.Position Overview:We are seeking a reliable, flexible, and patient-focused Traveling Dental Assistant to join our growing team. This position offers the best of both worlds: the excitement of a dynamic work environment and the security of a long-term career with a growing organization.ResponsibilitiesClinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.QualificationsCompletion of a one-year certified dental assistant program1 year on-the-job-experienceX-Ray certification - RequiredMust be willing to travel to any of our Connecticut office locationsHigh school diploma or equivalentDental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.Legal Disclaimer: We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
