Details Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting Weeknight shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 1900 to 0700 3 days per week, 36 hours per week No weekend or on-call shifts required May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications Uses Epic for clinical documentation Requirements Active RN license (Colorado or Compact) currently in hand, no pending license accepted Current BLS certification (AHA) required and must not expire prior to start date ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification required as appropriate for unit or service Minimum 1 year of experience in the Operating Room specialty required ASN required, graduation from an accredited School of Nursing BSN preferred Epic charting experience required DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration Additional Information Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for OR patients Evaluate health status through ongoing collection and assessment of health data Perform health teaching and counseling as needed Provide supportive and restorative therapy and treatment directly or through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching of others Refer patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines Promote the mission, vision, and values of the health system and abide by service behavior standards Permanent staff must be separated from any facility within the health system for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment Allow at least 2 weeks for background check and drug screen results using a specific vendor, with firm document due dates American Traveler Job ID P-737221.
