Details Med/Ortho unit setting (not Step-Down) 3x12hr Day shifts, 0700-1930 36 hours per week Weekend shifts required May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift Uses Epic charting system Requirements Active RN license (CO or Compact) required, no pending licenses accepted Current BLS (AHA) certification required, must not expire prior to start date Current ACLS (AHA) certification required, must not expire prior to start date Current NIHSS certification required TNCC certification preferred Minimum 1 year of experience in Med/Ortho specialty required ASN required, BSN preferred Epic EMR experience preferred DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration Additional Information Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, including health teaching and counseling Provide supportive and restorative therapy directly to patients or through consultation, delegation, or supervision Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed Monitor and review therapy and treatment plans Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines Allow at least 2 weeks for background check and drug screen results through a specific vendor Former permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment American Traveler Job ID P-749281.
