Licensed Vocational Nurse

About this role


Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Licensed Vocational Nurse to work in a supported living center located in Corpus Christi, TX. Licensed Vocational Nurse performs complex vocational nursing for various patient care duties, under the supervision of the Unit RN and Unit Nurse Manager.



Pay Rate : $40/hr for any shift worked during the week | $41/hr for any shift worked during the weekend



Location : Corpus Christi, TX



Schedule :

• 6:00am to 2:30pm and 2:00 pm-10:30 pm
• Every 3 rd weekend off rotational pattern

Job Duties :

• Provide care for patients - manage medication administration and treatments; provide medication education and complete documentation.
• Perform computer data entry - Receive full training
• Licensed to practice Nursing in Texas (LVN)
• 1 year, but preferably 2+ years as a direct care nurse
• Competent in advanced skills such as gastrostomy tubes/enteral feedings, Foley catheters, tracheostomies, etc.

Requirements :

• Licensed to practice as a licensed vocation nurse in the state of Texas
• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
• Demonstrated computer & electronic health record skills preferred.
• Must have valid photo ID and current American Heart Association CPR certification
• Must provide TB documentation
