General Information:

• Number of Beds: 40
• Patient Ratios: 1:7
• Unit staffing description: 1 clinical nurse coordinator, 7 nurses, 4 PCTs, and 1 UC per shift.
• Type of equipment: Regular medical equipment for med-surg unit.
• Documentation system: Meditech.
• Scheduling requirements: 36 hours per week with rotating weekends.
• Floating policy: Contract labor is the first to float to like units.
• Patient Experience requirements: 1+ years.

Unit Specifics:

• Advanced skills needed: None.
• Procedures performed on unit: EKGs, Glucose checks, Venipuncture.
• Dress Code: Required uniform is royal blue top and bottom.

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please attach unit-specific policies and guidelines.

Awards/Recognition: Consider items such as new equipment or technology, tenure and experience of staff, and schedule options.
