Requirements

• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Experienced Dental Hygienist (1+ years)
• Licensed dental hygienist

Education: At least two years of post-secondary education from an accredited dental hygiene program required.
Experience: At least one year of dental hygiene experience strongly preferred.
Other: Must maintain current CPR licensure. Ability to work with a diverse and low-income population. Computer proficient in office management software. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Overview: Community Health and Dental Care, Inc. is seeking a Full-time Dental Hygienist to provide preventive and therapeutic dental services to patients within the scope of practice for Registered Dental Hygienists according to Pennsylvania standards.
Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, polishing, exposing radiographs, and applying topical fluoride. Maintain proper dental records, chart patient details, and assist with timely billing completion. Help develop and implement dental department policies, procedures, and Quality Improvement Plans. Maintain cleanliness, infection control, and supply inventory for hygiene treatment.
Work Environment: Seat and dismiss patients, set up operatories, and collaborate with front desk personnel for efficient scheduling. Attend regular team meetings and adhere to agency mission, vision, values, and compliance policies.
