Payroll Efficiency Expert specializing in Business Processes
My name is Bill Stevens, and I have a new two to three Payroll Efficiency Expert contract opportunity available that could be of interest to you, please review my specification below and I am available at any time to speak with you so please feel free to call me. The work week schedule will onsite in the firms Islip, Long Island office.
The ideal candidate should also possess a green card or be of citizenship. No Visa entanglements and no H1-B holding company submittals.
Major firm located in Islip; Long Island has a two-to-three-month contract Payroll Efficiency Expert with Business Processing Experience. This role requires managing the process and improvement of the firms payroll processes for diverse employee groups while ensuring strict compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Key qualifications and responsibilities include:
Industry Experience: Proven track record in either the construction or HVAC space.
Processing Expertise: Proficiency in full-cycle payroll processing for large workforces (50+ to 500+ employees), including handling overtime, bonuses, deductions, and tax withholdings.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks, Vista by Viewpoint) and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Compliance & Reporting: Ensuring adherence to Wage and Hour laws and preparing accurate certified payroll reports for contracts.
Business Acumen: Strong organizational and analytical skills to reconcile discrepancies, support month-end close, and collaborate with HR and finance departments for seamless business operations.
Candidates should possess a high school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, with 2–5 years of relevant payroll experience.
This position pays $60.00 per hour on a w-2 hourly basis.
