Job Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, which include thorough physical examinations and in-depth reviews of medical histories
• Assist in the evaluation and diagnosis of surgical conditions through effective interpretation of imaging and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement customized surgical treatment plans tailored to each patient
• Provide critical intraoperative support by preparing surgical rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and adeptly passing instruments during procedures

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations emphasizing surgical care is highly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current and unrestricted PA-C credential
• BLS and ACLS certifications are essential
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
