Security Officer - Active Patrol

As a Security Officer - Active Patrol in Mesa, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in the job state. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while collaborating with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.05 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM Thur 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM Fri 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM Sat 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology office spaces, campuses, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns. Monitor entry points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for personnel and guests. Complete accurate shift reports, incident documentation, and required communications while following Allied Universal and client site expectations. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
