HR Transformation Manager

HR Transformation LeaderPay Rate: $80–$100/hour Location: Remote Work Schedule: Must be available during Central or Eastern Time business hours Travel: Occasional travel to Kentucky or Detroit may be requiredKey ResponsibilitiesSupport the stand-up of the new HR operating model, ensuring technology solutions align with business processes, workforce requirements, and operational needs.Act as the primary bridge between HR business stakeholders, the systems integrator, and third-party vendors, translating business requirements into functional and technical deliverables.Support the implementation of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and Learning, validating proposed designs against business requirements and the target HR operating model.Coordinate activities across HR, IT, payroll, benefits, recruiting, timekeeping, scheduling, and outsourced HR service providers.Maintain Jira-based tracking of decisions, dependencies, defects, risks, and issues. Drive accountability and timely resolution across stakeholders.Coordinate cross-vendor integration requirements, identify gaps and dependencies, and ensure systems and processes work together effectively.Support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), defect triage, issue resolution, and validation of business requirements.Coordinate readiness activities, track outstanding issues, manage dependencies, and help ensure a smooth transition into production.Facilitate working sessions, communicate project status, escalate risks, and drive decisions with business and technical stakeholders.Operate with minimal supervision in a fast-paced transformation environment, proactively identifying risks and keeping implementation activities on track.Required Qualifications7–10+ years of experience in HR transformation, HR technology, HRIS implementation, or enterprise HR systems delivery.Hands-on implementation or significant delivery experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and Learning/LMS.Experience working between business stakeholders and a systems integrator to translate business needs into system requirements and implementation deliverables.Experience with large-scale HR transformations, greenfield implementations, business separations, carve-outs, or new-business stand-ups.Proficiency with Jira for tracking project decisions, dependencies, risks, issues, and defects.Experience coordinating integrations across multiple HR systems, implementation partners, and third-party vendors.Strong understanding of HR processes and their relationships with payroll, timekeeping, scheduling, benefits, recruiting, and employee services.Experience with SIT, UAT, defect resolution, cutover planning, and go-live readiness.Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving.Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and drive cross-functional accountability.The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, paid parking/public transportation, paid time off, paid sick and safe time, hours of paid vacation time, weeks of paid parental leave, and paid holidays annually – as applicable.
