Shift Details

Mid 5x8-Hour Shift (14:45 - 23:15)

• Start Dates: Every two weeks due to orientation schedule
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week, every other weekend required
• Hours per Week: 40 hours
• Shifts may not be changed once offered.

Patient Care Ratios

1:18-20 in a 300-bed facility

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing experience required
• Experience working with Alzheimer's and Dementia patient populations is preferred
• Must hold an active NY State License
• No license hits allowed
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required

Experience Requirements

• Must have 1+ year of LTC experience for CNAs, LVNs/LPNs, and RNs
• Supervisor RNs must have 1+ year of supervisory experience along with 2+ years of LTC experience

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Perform medication passes accurately and safely
• Monitor and report changes in resident conditions
• Complete timely and accurate documentation
• Provide nursing care in accordance with facility policies
• Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) on assigned units

Orientation and Training

Orientation occurs every two weeks; attendance is mandatory.

Important Notes

• All shifts commence 15 minutes prior and conclude 15 minutes post shift times.
• All requested time off must be submitted alongside application; no changes will be made post-offer.
• Canadian citizens are not eligible to apply.
• 1 verified reference is required for submission, with a second required prior to contract start.
• Candidates must complete necessary labs within 48 hours of signing to avoid cancellation.
• Applicants must be American citizens.
