Accounting Specialist
LHH Recruitment Solutions is supporting a company near Mundelein, IL with a search for an accounting specialist. This is a permanent role and onsite. They are looking for someone that can handle AP, AR and month end close tasks.
Responsibilities:
Review and process accounts payable
Ensure three way match and back up documentation
Purchase orders
Communicate with vendors
Discrepancy resolution
Reconcile vendor statements and accounts
Apply customer payments
Manage the 1099 and W9 process
Journal entries
Month end accruals
Reports for month end close
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of prior experience in accounts payable and month end close
Experience in a manufacturing environment
ERP systems experience
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently
Ability to manage deadlines and be detailed
Salary: $60K-$68K
