Accounting Associate

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join the clients dynamic team. In this role, you will support the daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate data entry, efficient office management, and seamless communication across departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, technical proficiency with accounting and productivity software, and excellent customer service abilities. Responsibilities Manage data entry tasks related to accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger transactions with precision and efficiency Assist in preparing financial reports, spreadsheets, and documentation using Microsoft Office tools such as Word and Excel Support invoicing processes by generating, reviewing, and distributing invoices accurately using QuickBooks or similar accounting software Handle front desk duties including answering multi-line phone systems, greeting visitors, and managing office communications professionally Maintain organized filing systems for financial records, vendor files, and client information to ensure easy retrieval and compliance Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries via phone or email and supporting client communication efforts Collaborate with team members on office management tasks such as scheduling, document proofreading, and maintaining office supplies Assist with clerical tasks including proofreading documents, preparing correspondence, and managing time-sensitive administrative duties Support overall office productivity by utilizing organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple responsibilities Requirements Accounts receivable heavy focus - 100 invoices per day / 2000 per month. Proven experience in office management or administrative roles within an office environment Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and familiarity with productivity software Experience using QuickBooks or similar accounting software for financial data management Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document processing Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette and client interaction capabilities Prior experience in clerical work or front desk responsibilities is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism under pressure Excel skills, vlookups, sum ifs, data importing/exporting - wants to see excel examples SAGE or MAS90 (accounting software) If you are motivated by organization, enjoy supporting operational functions, and excel in providing exceptional customer service, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
