You'll review financial statements, manage general ledger activity, prepare and review journal entries, perform reconciliations, and analyze accounts to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. You'll support budgeting and forecasting activities, prepare variance analyses, and contribute valuable insights that assist leadership with strategic planning. During month-end and year-end close cycles, you'll take a leading role in ensuring timely and accurate reporting while supporting tax compliance and audit activities. You'll also review the work of accounting staff, provide meaningful feedback, mentor developing professionals, and collaborate with colleagues who are committed to delivering exceptional results.Would you excel in this position? Here's what you need:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA license or active CPA candidacy preferred4+ years of progressive accounting experienceStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and the full accounting cycleDemonstrated experience with month-end close, financial statement preparation, reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysisExperience reviewing the work of other accounting staff and providing actionable feedbackAdvanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookup functions, data analysis, and reconciliation of large data setsStrong proficiency with QuickBooks Online and/or other accounting or ERP systemsAbility to research accounting issues, exercise professional judgment, and clearly communicate conclusionsExcellent organizational skills, time management abilities, and the capability to manage multiple deadlines with minimal supervisionPreferred:Public accounting, outsourced accounting, governmental accounting, nonprofit accounting, or professional services experienceExperience with grants, governmental accounting, federal awards, or 2 CFR Part 200A COMPANY BUILT ON TRUSTPremier Group (PG) is a full-service certified public accounting and management consulting firm specializing in financial audits, accounting support, and related services.
