Veterinary Assistant Position

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to work relief shifts at VCA Veterinary Specialists of the Valley. The successful candidate will be a believer in high quality veterinary medicine and patient carewith the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen.

The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:

• Venipuncture
• Catheter placement
• Radiology
• Anesthesia monitoring
• Physical examinations and patient assessment
• Surgical preparation and assisting
• Laboratory work
• Pharmacy
• Patient recovery
• Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients
