Insurance Verification Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Insurance Verification Specialist to join our medical office team. This role is ideal for someone looking to start or grow a career in healthcare administration. Training will be provided. Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00 / hour Qualifications Data entry and computer skills with documentation accuracy Insurance verification and eligibility (preferred) Understanding of health insurance benefits (a plus) Medical records or administrative paperwork Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook What You’ll Learn on the Job Credentialing and contracting processes Patient invoicing and billing support Daily Day Sheet tally and reconciliation Use of medical billing and laboratory systems About You Willingness to learn and take direction Strong attention to detail Good communication and organizational skills Positive, professional attitude with patients and staff Ability to work independently and as part of a team About Us Acupath Laboratories is a nationwide provider of specialized anatomic pathology services, focusing on areas like urology, gastroenterology, and hematology/oncology.
