Residential Treatment Manager - Y- Haven

Residential Treatment Manager

Y-Haven provides temporary housing and drug and alcohol treatment to adults in Cuyahoga County who are most in need. Formed in 1993 by the YMCA of Greater Cleveland, Y-Haven has helped thousands recover from addiction, secure permanent housing, and re-build their lives. Y-Haven offers healing and hope.

The Residential Treatment Manager will oversee Operational and Clinical Administrative duties essential for successfully implementing Y-Haven's Residential Treatment program serving 40-60 individuals at a time. The RT Manager will ensure the Residential Treatment program meets all regulations and standards, which include providing meals to participants, as well as 30 hours of documented clinical and non-clinical services each week to each participant.

Essential Functions:

  • Treatment Group Schedule: Maintain Y-Haven's Treatment Group schedule assuring each treatment group is staffed each day. Communicate schedule changes with staff and participants.
  • Catering: Oversee catering program for RT participants including liaison with third party caterer, managing equipment and supplies, invoicing, oversee food serving activities, menus, food delivery, special diets, quality control, food safety, program evaluation, complaints, etc. Ensure meal program meets all guidelines and laws set by local and state governing bodies.
  • MAT: Oversee referrals to and from Medication Assisted Treatment programs and oversee collaborative partnerships with MAT providers.
  • Peer Support Services: Develop and oversee collaboration with third party provider of Peer Support Services assuring RT participants have ready access to quality peer support.
  • 30 Hours of Weekly Service: Working with Y-Haven leadership and staff, ensure RT participants are offered at least 30 hours of clinical and non-clinical services.
  • Resident Rooms: Oversee placement of new RT participants in Y-Haven apartment, assuring room readiness (cleanliness/supplies), key coding, etc.

Qualifications:

Education

Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study.

Experience:

  • Two years experience in program management.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft office and other business software.
  • Demonstrated sound judgement when seeking additional supervision.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office and to complete on-line data reports.
  • Familiarity with drug and alcohol addiction and 12-step recovery programs.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust.

Work Environment:

  • Ability to work in a moderate to noisy work environment.
  • Ability to multitask in a changing environment
  • May be required to work outside and on occasion may encounter inclement weather.
