Retail Bench Store Leader

: The most exciting thing about Bargain Hunt is our growth! Bench Store Leaders are seasoned retail managers who form part of our talented management pipeline. They are equipped to lead store operations once a store becomes available. Responsibilities:

• Oversee overall store operation, including sales performance and personnel management.
• Utilize company reports and tools to assess efficiency, analyze trends, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Greet and assist customers professionally, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Handle interviewing, selection, hiring, training, and performance evaluations of team members.
• Administer disciplinary actions in line with company guidelines.
• Continually evaluate performance issues and actively recruit leadership candidates.
• Maintain a clean, fun, and safe environment.
• Manage financial controls, including shrink, payroll, and other expenses.
• Develop strategies to increase sales and engage customers.
• Ensure the store's appearance aligns with company standards.
• Foster a positive work environment.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Serve as primary Manager on Duty, overseeing store operations, including opening and closing.

Drives:

• Focus staff on loss prevention.
• Accept and complete special assignments as directed.
• Enforce all Company policies and procedures.

Job Specifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; four-year degree preferred.
• 3+ years of retail management experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and visual merchandising skills.
• Proactive, results-driven, with strong decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient in operating store equipment and systems.
• Ability to move throughout the store and handle merchandise effectively.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to travel between stores, with occasional overnight stays.
