Principal Scientist - Cell Therapy Translational Research

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Principal Scientist to lead translational research for cell therapy clinical trials in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. The role involves developing biomarker strategies, designing translational experiments, managing collaborators, and supporting regulatory submissions for cellular therapy programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute end-to-end translational research strategies for cell therapy clinical programs
• Design and interpret translational experiments; partner with biostatisticians on data analysis and interpretation
• Identify biomarkers and mechanism-of-action hypotheses for cell therapy products alone or in combination
• Manage CRO and academic collaborator relationships; serve as scientific lead on cross-functional project teams
• Contribute to investigator brochures, IND applications, clinical protocols, and regulatory submissions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years industry/academic experience, or Master's with 6+ years, or Ph.D. with 4+ years
• Expertise in immunology or cellular biology; knowledge of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases preferred
• Experience developing and analyzing biomarkers for clinical trials
• Proficiency with flow cytometry, transcriptomics, proteomics data analysis
• Familiarity with drug development from IND filing to market authorization
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence cross-functional teams
• Detail-oriented with capability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently

Compensation: $152,360 - $184,628
