Security Officer Screening Specialist

Overview As a Security Officer Screening Specialist in Ontario, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Position Details Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.89 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time; Mon 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM; Tue 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM; Wed 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM; Sat 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM; Sun 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM Responsibilities Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at the location. Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering or exiting the location in accordance with site policies and documented security-related procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as appropriate. Monitor entry points, shipping and receiving areas, and other designated locations to help support authorized access and proper movement throughout the facility. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual conditions and documenting security-related concerns according to post orders. Minimum Requirements A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required. A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
