• Verify patient demographic information and obtain signatures where applicable to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
• Communicate clearly with patients, explaining procedures to foster trust and comfort during blood collection.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment, adhering to all policies and safety standards.
• Accurately record data and maintain required documentation, contributing to quality assurance efforts.
• Perform duties independently with minimal supervision, managing multiple priorities efficiently in a high-volume setting.

Required Skills

• Strong phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric and geriatric blood draws and capillary collections.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficiency in keyboard and data entry to ensure precise documentation and record-keeping.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment and make decisions based on established procedures.

Additional Skills & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
• 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Experience working in a Patient Service Center environment is highly preferred.
• Available to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime, to cover multiple locations as needed.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record if applicable.
• Ability to travel and work at various locations with minimal notice, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to staffing needs.
