Job Description As a Security Officer Personnel Screening in Tracy, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by monitoring access, screening personnel and visitors, and reporting security-related concerns. Your visible presence, strong communication, and customer service skills will help to deter incidents while creating a welcoming experience. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed11:00 PM - 07:30 AMThur11:00 PM - 07:30 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:30 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:30 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, screening protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and deliveries in accordance with established access-control and visitor-management procedures. Verify credentials, maintain accurate visitor and screening records, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate receiving, shipping, or facility locations. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of designated logistics and distribution areas, entry points, receiving docks, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Customer service experience is preferred. A Guard Card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
