Personal Banker

Position Overview Position: Personal Banker – Wayne Branch, Wayne, Michigan. PNC is an in‑office company that supports a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture. PNC does not sponsor employment visas for this position. Responsibilities Acquire and deepen the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities. Manage the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve financial wellbeing. Collaborate with ecosystem partners and community centers to grow the customer’s share of wallet. Position PNC solutions to drive new revenue and retain customer loyalty. Lead proactive sales conversations through outbound calling, service‑to‑sales, teller interactions, and lobby engagement. Deliver a full PNC conversation with each client interaction, identifying appropriate solutions. Use partnerships and community influence to acquire, expand, and retain relationships. Enact lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and appropriately position PNC products. Educate customers on options for managing financial transactions using technology, tools, and resources. Apply product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate, and solve customer problems effectively. Manage risk through adherence to all policies and procedures, exercising sound judgment within established limits. Exercise heightened scrutiny to identify and avoid loss. Participate in branch daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. Qualifications Preferred skills and competencies include: accountability, banking, client loyalty, customer experience (CX), customer service, identifying opportunities, leveraging technology, proactive sales, banking products, digital awareness, effective communications, managing multiple priorities, matrix management, problem solving, prospecting, retail lending, selling, and understanding customer needs. Work experience: 3+ years in a related field, or a comparable combination of education, job‑specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered. Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent knowledge and experience. Certifications: None required. All candidates will be subject to background checks required by Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations.
