Project Accountant

Location: Tulsa, OK

Travel: Regular domestic travel

Type: Full-Time | Exempt

Salary: $70,000–$90,000/year

Job Summary

System One is seeking an experienced Project Accountant to support multiple projects and ensure accurate billing, reconciliations, and financial reporting for a client in the Tulsa area. This role works closely with project leadership and may assist with training and mentoring accounting staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and review vendor/subcontractor invoices

• Prepare and reconcile client billings

• Review pay applications, contracts, and documentation

• Perform job cost reconciliations and resolve variances

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reviews

• Maintain documentation in a paperless system

• Assist with payroll and general accounting support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience

• 6+ years of project-based or industry-related accounting experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Experience with ERP or project accounting systems

• Strong organizational and communication skills
