Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Join a team supporting community health through pharmacy services in the greater Phoenix area. This per diem opportunity seeks experienced retail pharmacists to build a reliable, local team ready to cover call outs, vacations, and volume spikes across multiple locations. Ideal candidates will have a strong retail background and a flexible schedule to work approximately 2-4 days per week.

Location:

• Various pharmacy locations around Tempe and the greater Phoenix, AZ area, all within a commutable distance.

Schedule/Hours:

• Pharmacy operations are Monday through Saturday, typically from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with some locations closing at 8:00 p.m.
• Shifts vary; no guaranteed hours but availability for coverage is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmaceutical care in retail pharmacy settings, supporting prescription dispensing and counseling.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and handle pharmacist-only sites with autonomy.
• Complete required training including one initial 8-hour onsite session (non-billable; reduced for those with QS1 experience).
• Maintain compliance with immunization administration and Basic Life Support (BLS) requirements.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist in Arizona with no restrictions.
• Minimum 1-2 years of recent retail pharmacy experience; 2+ years strongly preferred.
• Immunization privilege and current BLS certification required.
• Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy systems is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with average daily prescription volumes of 100-125.
