In collaboration with other members of the management team, this individual is responsible for the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit or department. · Assumes responsibility for direction and coordination of all functions during the designated shift. · Functions as a resource person for staff member and assists in necessary education of individual members of the nursing staff. · Assumes responsibility for the overall quality of nursing care provided when s/he is on duty · Delivers high quality, patient-centered care · Demonstratesawareness andrespect forthe patient/family/significantothers · Knowledgeable ofpatient’srights,advanceddirectives,consents, protection ofpatient security, privacyand confidentialityin allaspects ofcare · Demonstrates accuracyin administration,monitoringanddocumentation of medications,treatments,IVtherapies,modalities andblood products · Assess, collaborateand coordinatemeetingpatient’scareneeds duringtransitionfrom shift to shift, transferand upon discharge To Get Started You Will Need: · Minimum of two (2) years of clinical practice in the dialysis specialty, acute care experience in a hospital setting preferred · Appropriate certifications as required for specific position · Degree from an accredited school of nursing · BSN required within 1 year · Certification in specialty required within 1 year. · Completion of charge nurse course required within one year Maintains certifications,educationand development appropriate for position Apply Today!
