Responsibilities of a Home Health Aide (HHA):

As a  Home Health Aide , you’ll play a critical role in enhancing the quality of life for your clients by offering care, companionship, and reliable support. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assisting with light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Transporting or escorting clients to appointments
• Assisting with mobility and therapeutic exercises
• Monitoring and reporting changes in client condition to the  RN Case Manager
• Following individualized care plans as directed

Requirements for Home Health Aide / Caregiver:

• Valid Indiana  HHA certification required
• High school diploma or GED
• CPR certification (current)
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
• Negative TB test and physical (within the past 12 months)
• Clean drug screen and background check
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical caregiving duties
• Excellent communication skills and HIPAA compliance
