Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time position focuses on providing speech-language therapy services to a vibrant caseload of 35+ students in grades K-5 for the upcoming school year. Work in a collaborative, student-centered environment at two engaging elementary sites, with the stability of a school-year schedule from August 4th, 2026, through May 28th, 2027.

Desired Qualifications:

• Hold a valid New Mexico Speech-Language Pathology license (must be current and in hand)
• Possess a valid New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) credential ready for immediate presentation
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience working in elementary school settings strongly preferred
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Organizational skills to maintain documentation and manage a dynamic caseload

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to K-5 students, focusing on individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and compliance with state and federal regulations
• Adapt therapeutic strategies to meet diverse learner needs in both pull-out and classroom settings
