Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Bring your passion for supporting students to a fulfilling contract opportunity as a Paraprofessional. This position requires five dedicated professionals to assist with personal care, classroom support, and individualized attention for students spanning elementary, middle, and high school placements. Assignments may include both classroom-wide and 1:1 roles, and caseloads or preferred age groups are subject to the needs of the school.

Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or PCA in a school setting preferred
• CPI training must be completed prior to the start date
• Ability to provide toileting, feeding, and general care for students in need of additional support
• Compassionate and patient demeanor, committed to supporting students’ educational and personal development
• Flexibility to work across K-12 settings and adapt to varying caseloads as assigned
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support students with daily activities including toileting, feeding, and hygiene
• Implement behavioral and academic support strategies as directed by educational staff
• Foster an inclusive, encouraging, and safe environment for all students
• Track and document student progress and incidents as needed
• Assist with transitions, mobility, and engagement in classroom activities and routines
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of professionalism

This contract role runs from August 24, 2026 to June 10, 2027, offering 35 hours each week with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Schedules vary by school level, providing exposure to different age groups and learning needs.
