Location: Duluth, GA - Hybrid - 2 days mandatory work from office

Duration: 6 months

No GC/USC restrictions, but candidate will need to be onboarded quickly with no visa delays

7+ years experience

Job Description:

1.7+ years of DevOps/Cloud Engineering experience, with strong experience supporting and managing lower/non-production environments such as DEV, QA, E2E/UAT and PERF, (GCP and ON-Prem (Linux, Windows, Solaris) including environment readiness and stability.

2. Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins CI/CD, including building pipelines from scratch, deployment automation, credentials management and troubleshooting failed builds/deployments across lower environments.

3. 4+ years of hands-on GCP experience, with good knowledge of GKE/Kubernetes, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, IAM, Secret Manager, Cloud Logging/Monitoring and supporting cloud-based application environments.

4. Strong experience with Kubernetes/GKE, Docker, Helm and Terraform, covering application deployments, infrastructure/configuration changes, scaling, environment provisioning, and troubleshooting.

5. Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash/Shell and Groovy, with the ability to automate repetitive environment readiness, deployment, validation and operational activities.

6. Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, CI/CD, GCP, Linux/Windows servers, IAM/service accounts, DNS, certificates, firewall/network connectivity and application integrations, with the ability to drive issues to resolution across multiple teams.

7. Experience managing lower-environment deployments and readiness, including application configuration, environment refreshes, test-data dependencies, integration validation, release/deployment support and coordination with SRE, Platform, DBA, Network and application teams.

8. Experience with observability/monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry and GCP Monitoring, along with knowledge of Java/microservices-based applications.
