The Role
Are you a sales pro who loves building relationships and closing deals—but also enjoys helping customers right at the dealership? As an Outside Sales Representative , you’ll split your time between developing your territory, generating new business, and supporting walk-in customers. From rental contracts to equipment sales, you’ll be the go-to expert for customers in the field and at our dealership.
What You’ll Do
- Grow your territory by prospecting, networking, and cultivating long-term relationships.
- Assist walk-in customers with equipment sales, rentals, and inquiries.
- Manage rental contracts efficiently and accurately.
- Respond promptly to customer needs—sometimes after hours.
- Keep customer info organized in our CRM system.
- Collaborate with the team to make every customer interaction smooth and successful.
- Hit and exceed sales goals while representing Rueter’s values.
What We’re Looking For
- 2–3 years of proven sales experience (inside, outside, or blended).
- Experience in agriculture or construction equipment is a plus.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable with CRM and general computer use.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
- Valid driver’s license.
