Job Description As a Security Officer Security Presence in Minooka, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will support access control, report security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and escalating concerns according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points, verify visitor and vendor entry requirements, and maintain applicable access-control records. Observe shipping and receiving activity, report irregular conditions, and support adherence to site-specific loss-prevention and security-related procedures. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
