ABOUT THE ROLE

You'll serve as the senior attorney at the firm's Long Island satellite office, managing a full insurance defense caseload across labor law, construction litigation, premises liability, motor vehicle, property damage, and general liability matters -- while supervising two junior associates and one support staff member. Full case ownership is expected from pleadings through trial, with regular appearances in state and local courts across the NYC metro area.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience: 6--10+ years in insurance defense litigation

- Active New York State Bar admission in good standing

- Track record of independently managing cases from pleadings through trial

- Comfortable operating with high autonomy in a satellite office environment

- Experience across insurance defense matters: labor law, construction, premises liability, motor vehicle, property damage, and/or general liability

Preferred:

- Prior supervisory or leadership experience, or background as an independent practitioner seeking a firm platform

- Familiarity with NYC metro area courts and venues

Bar Admission: New York State required (in good standing)

Work Policy: In-office at the Uniondale satellite office; regular travel to NYC metro area courts required; remote coordination with firm leadership

Note: Partnership-track position with significant day-to-day autonomy over office operations.
