Position Summary

Serve as a senior logistics professional responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing materiel fielding activities. This position provides technical expertise, stakeholder coordination, logistics analysis, and operational oversight to ensure successful fielding operations in support of PM SMD objectives. This is an onsite position in Frederick, MD.

Duties & Responsibilities

The essential and specific functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Plan and coordinate materiel fielding missions from initiation through completion.
• Lead logistics assessments, data reviews, and readiness analysis activities.
• Coordinate with government personnel, unit representatives, and support organizations.
• Develop and maintain fielding schedules, execution plans, and status reports.
• Analyze equipment requirements, transportation needs, and accountability documentation.
• Identify risks, issues, and schedule conflicts and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Support onsite fielding operations, inventories, and customer coordination activities.
• Prepare reports, briefings, and documentation for leadership review.
• Assist with training, mentoring, and guidance of junior logistics personnel.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, Army policies, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related discipline; equivalent experience may be substituted.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible logistics or materiel fielding experience.
• Experience supporting Army logistics, medical logistics, or fielding programs.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel capabilities.
• Experience working with Army logistics information systems and databases.
• Ability to interpret regulations, guidance, and technical documentation.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating across multiple stakeholders.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS as required.
