Sales Manager (Federal/Military)

Summary Leads/directs assigned Managed Account Representatives on a daily basis. Promotes teamwork and assists group of individuals to attain sales goals and provide a professional level of customer service to external and internal customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. Achieve weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual; Net Sales $, Margin $, Margin %, Orders Placed, and Accounts purchasing activity. Ensure achievement of daily strategic and tactical objectives of sales reps; product expertise, database management, bid management, promotional program execution, Build out B2b’s within the federal / military teams Continue to drive results in set of accounts (territory) Develop and maintain productive relationships with cross-functional departments Must be customer driven - always delivering customer service that meets the customers expectations. Foster a team environment that promotes achievement of common goals. Build the team – recruit, train, and provide feedback that advances capabilities. Reinforce the training and development initiatives that deliver internal stability and associate value. Provide sound recommendations/solutions to customers, teammates and management Qualifications/Requirements Sales Ability Demonstrated ability to successfully grow and maintain territory Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to interact and communicate with different personalities and learning styles Above average knowledge of the public safety industry Proven ability to contribute and lead in a team environment Recognized as a leader throughout the organization Ability to maintain territory performance and assume additional responsibilities Professionalism in customer service Strong product knowledge Able to lead by example Education/Training/Experience Minimum of one (1) year in Managed Accounts sales territory BA degree preferred Eligibility Completed 1 year in your current position (exceptions to this may be considered with supervisory approval).
