Physical Therapist - Travel Opportunity in Scarborough, ME (Skilled Nursing Facility)

Join a skilled nursing team in Scarborough, Maine as a traveling Physical Therapist. Provide rehabilitation services to residents recovering from injury, surgery, and chronic conditions. Deliver individualized treatment plans, document progress, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and support safe mobilization and discharge planning. This role offers a structured schedule and the opportunity to work in a post-acute environment serving older adults.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the APTA.
• Active Maine physical therapy license or ability to obtain state licensure prior to assignment start.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC, or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Experience working in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.
• Demonstrated competency in therapeutic exercise, gait training, transfers, and functional mobility assessment.
• Ability to complete required documentation for clinical and regulatory compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel therapy experience.
• Experience with electronic medical records used in long-term care.
• Advanced training in balance, fall prevention, or wound management.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0800-1630.
• Schedule pattern: 5x8.
