Take on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary-aged students as a Speech-Language Pathologist providing dedicated 1:1 care. In this school-based setting near Lakeville, MN, your expertise will empower young learners to communicate more effectively and achieve their educational goals.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Florida State License
- Experience working in school or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt therapy plans to individual student needs
- Exceptional organizational skills for maintaining accurate records
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for assigned students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special educators, and support staff to maximize student progress
- Deliver targeted 1:1 speech-language therapy sessions
- Maintain thorough and timely session notes and required documentation
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP development as appropriate
- Engage with families regarding progress and strategies for continued growth
