Marketing Assistant

Fogel-Anderson Construction Co. is looking for a Marketing Assistant develops high-quality social media, marketing and proposal materials that support business development efforts and enhance Fogel-Anderson’s online, print, and jobsite brand presence. Our preferred candidate will have prior experience in the AEC industry, and an interest in working in a dynamic environment with a growing general contractor with a 109-year history of building a wide variety of projects in the Kansas City region. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Writing, designing, and preparing materials for successful proposals, qualifications, and in-person interview presentations. Drafting, editing, and organizing various market collateral, including proposal content, project sheets, resumes, and interview content to ensure it is comprehensive, competitive, and client specific. Managing multiple projects simultaneously within project deadlines. Creating internal and external communications: social media posts, newsletters, and company events. Coordinate the recruiting process with potential candidates and select college recruiting opportunities. Coordinate trade show opportunities for select college and high school career fairs. Coordinate company swag, apparel, and print marketing materials with 3rd party vendors. Manage website content and updates. Coordinate project photos and award submissions. QUALIFICATIONS Education/Certification: An accredited Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Communications, or related fields preferred but not required. Preferred Knowledge: Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite – specifically InDesign; additional Creative suite experience – including Canva – is also preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience Required: 2+ years of experience in Marketing and/or Communications field preferred. Prior experience in the AEC industry preferred. Demonstrated videography and photography skills are a plus. Skills/Abilities: Excellent communication skills: verbal, technical writing, and creative writing as well as proofreading and editing. Positive attitude, resourceful nature, and excellent problem-solving capabilities. High attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
