Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.BENEFITS ANALYSTRESPONSIBILITIES:Administer health and welfare benefits, including medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, life, and disabilityCounsel employees on plan options, eligibility, life events, and coverage questions by email, phone, walk-ups, and drop-in sessionsSupport annual open enrollment, including communications, system setup, employee questions, and vendor coordinationPartner with carriers and vendors on eligibility, claims issues, billing, and plan administrationServe as liaison with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Legal, and other stakeholders on benefits mattersEnsure benefits programs remain compliant with applicable federal, state, and local requirementsIdentify, recommend, and implement benefits process and program improvementsSupport wellness and related employee benefit programsOther duties as assignedBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree2+ years of human resources experience in a generalist or benefits backgroundPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Benefits or human resources certification (CEBS, PHR, etc.)Experience with benefits platforms such as Workday or UGKAbility to use independent judgment and prioritize workExperience thriving in a fast-paced environmentStrong verbal, written, and presentation skillsProficiency with MS Office, especially ExcelAttention to detail and commitment to qualityHighly collaborative, with a strong team orientationHighly organized, with the ability to manage multiple high priorities in a loosely structured environmentBilingual in Spanish and EnglishADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:This is not a remote or hybrid position and will require relocation if not already local to the Hawthorne, CA areaPosition occasionally requires the ability to work extended hours or weekends when neededAbility to travel to other SpaceX offices as neededCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:Pay Range:Level 1: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00Level 2: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
