Night Warehouse Supervisor

Directs the workforce to load cases of wine and spirits onto the company’s delivery trucks, maintains inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items, and supervises the activities of associates who verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments. Responsibilities Ensure efficient truck loading, including picking orders from full case pick lines, the bottle room, and replenishing both full and split case complexes in a timely manner. Report damage to equipment, product, and facilities. Maintain equipment operation through instruction enforcement, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. Report product shortages or location problems. Organize and maintain the storage area, adhering to design principles and recommending improvements. Ensure the unloading of trucks and receiving of product is efficient and accurate. Guarantee compliance with local, state, federal, and OSHA requirements, including handling work‑related injuries. Maintain security procedures to protect warehouse operations and contents. Supervise associates, performing hiring, orientation, training, scheduling, coaching, counseling, disciplining, and performance appraisal in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent training and work experience. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related business area. Proficient PC skills using Microsoft Office and other computer programs, including presentation software. Results‑oriented professional with strong verbal and written communication skills, diplomacy, discretion, and customer service aptitude. Ability to multi‑task, work independently or in a team, pay close attention to detail, and meet deadlines. Analytic and reporting skills with sound judgment and problem‑solving abilities. Experience in a fast‑paced, high‑volume team environment. Preferred Qualifications People management experience. Knowledge of logistics systems used in the industry. Physical Requirements May be required to stay in a stationary position, operate a computer and telephone, occasionally carry and lift up to 65 pounds, reach overhead, squat, and bend, and frequently walk and stand for extended periods. Competencies Coordinate the work of junior team members. Resolve varied and non‑routine issues. Conduct analysis and investigations to solve problems.
