Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A growing mail-order pharmacy located in the Albany, OH area is seeking a licensed Pharmacist (RPh) for a contract position. This role offers both part-time and full-time opportunities, making it ideal for pharmacists looking for flexibility and a verification-focused position with minimal direct patient interaction. New graduates are encouraged to apply and must commit to a one-year term; the client will cover licensure costs.
Responsibilities:
- Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently in a mail-order pharmacy setting
- Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Oversee dispensing workflow to maintain timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to quality assurance standards
- Collaborate effectively with pharmacy staff to support efficient operations
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing
- No history of negative licensure actions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently within a mail-order pharmacy environment
- Previous verification experience is preferred but not required
- New graduates welcome; must commit to one year
Location: Albany, Ohio
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Sunday: Closed
Flexible scheduling available within these business hours for part-time or full-time candidates.
