SWISS MACHINIST

Performs machine setup, operation, and first article inspections on Swiss machines: Tornos Deco and Citizen Swiss CNC machines CNC Programming is a plus Able to troubleshoot maintenance and quality issues on the machine Assists in meeting quality requirements Communicates problems and procedural issues Suggests improvements for production and quality Works effectively in a team environment Perform other duties as assigned SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Performs machine setup and first article inspection Performs required machine maintenance Assists in training other machinists Ensures production priorities are followed Makes management aware of any quality/production problems Uses microscopes, callipers, micrometres, weights, optical comparators and other inspection devices Verifies accuracy and completeness of all paperwork EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Minimum HS diploma, GED or equivalent experience Minimum 5 years in a CNC Swiss machining environment Ability to read, write and communicate effectively with all other personnel Ability to follow directions and perform complex duties Good hand and eye coordination Good interpersonal skills Required Citizenship / Work Permit / Visa Status Must-Haves Minimum 5 years in a CNC swiss machining environment Ability to read, write and communicate effectively with all other personnel Ability to follow directions and perform complex duties #J-18808-Ljbffr
