Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer to join our Cloud, DevOps, and Operations organization. This role is responsible for designing, building, automating, and supporting modern cloud-based infrastructure and applications that power critical business services. The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering skills with expertise in cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, CI/CD practices, and platform operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve platform reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence while driving automation-first solutions across the technology stack. Candidates should possess strong development experience, hands‑on cloud expertise, and a passion for building resilient, highly automated environments. Reporting Relationships Reports To: Crew Lead, Cloud / DevOps / Operations Direct Reports: None Primary Functions & Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain software solutions, cloud infrastructure, and automation capabilities that support business and technology objectives. Build and manage cloud-native infrastructure leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline application delivery and improve deployment reliability. Support enterprise platforms and applications through advanced Level3 production support and incident resolution. Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to ensure platform health and operational stability. Partner with development, architecture, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions. Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement. Contribute to system architecture discussions and technical decision-making. Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and platform resiliency initiatives. Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and best practices to improve engineering capabilities. Required Qualifications Experience 5+ years of professional software engineering experience. 2+ years of experience working within a large-scale enterprise environment. Experience designing, developing, and supporting distributed applications and services. Experience working within Agile and DevOps-focused delivery organizations. Demonstrated experience across the software development lifecycle, from design through production support. Full-stack development experience is preferred. Technical Skills Proficiency in two or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or similar. Hands‑on experience with public cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure. Experience with source control platforms including GitHub and/or GitLab. Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tooling. Experience with Kubernetes and containerized application deployment. Experience using Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code technologies. Experience with monitoring and observability tools. Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating environments. Experience working with Jira or other Agile project management and issue-tracking platforms. Professional Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience supporting highly available, mission-critical production systems. Experience with automated testing frameworks and DevSecOps practices. Financial services industry experience is a plus. Reporting Relationships Global Head of Infrastructure and Platform Engineering Compensation The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus.
