Maintenance Technician

Comfort Systems USA Shoffner needs Preventative Maintenance Techs to perform routine maintenance, inspections, and basic repairs on HVAC and mechanical equipment. We welcome experienced technicians, but it's also a great opportunity to start a career in the skilled trades. You'll work alongside experienced technicians, gain hands-on experience, and work on maintenance, service, and construction projects.

Your Pay:

$20 - $22 per hour for entry level – more for experience. Pay and performance reviews annually.

What You Bring:

• Related work experience is a plus – not a requirement.
• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Trade school, vocational, or other related training (preferred)
• Mechanical aptitude with interest to learn new skills
• Valid driver's license (required).

The Workplace:

• Work overtime when necessary.
• Work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather.
• Stand and walk throughout the workday, and lift/carry up to 60 lbs.
• Climb ladders and work at heights when necessary.
• Work reaching above shoulders, crawling, squatting, kneeling, and bending.
• Follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
