Become a part of our caring community The Lead Medical Assistant is the first contact for patient care. Responsible for administrative tasks in addition to patient care. The Lead Medical Assistant assumes ownership and leads advanced and specialized administrative, operational, and customer support tasks that require independent initiative and judgment. Location: CenterWell Senior Primary Care office located at 1766 East Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89104-1945 Job Functions Perform clinical tasks including discussing symptoms and obtaining vital signs, medication/vaccine administration, phlebotomy, and collecting specimens. Conduct diagnostic screening tests, sterilize/clean equipment, maintain examination rooms and document information into the electronic medical records system. Collaborate with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers. Deliver direct patient care as allowed by certifications. Make decisions regarding daily priorities for an administrative work group and external vendors, coordinate work activities, monitor progress towards schedules and goals, and oversee work of others as primary administrative owner of key processes. Work within broad guidelines and contribute to process improvement, deliver in-depth training, and provide advanced guidance and mentoring to other Medical Assistants. Required Certified or Registered Medical Assistant Phlebotomy experience Medication/vaccine administration experience 3+ years Medical Assistant experience High school diploma or equivalent CPR certified Patient‑facing role that includes running the Tuberculosis (TB) screening program (TB screening required) Other 1+ year Medical Assistant experience in a PCO center Experience in value‑based care (HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, CAHPS/HOS) Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish; must pass proficiency exam before foreign language communication Interview Format – HireVue Virtual interview using HireVue technology will be utilized to assess your relevant experience. Compensation Hourly range: $48,300 - $65,900 per year (full‑time, 40 hours per week). Additional bonus incentive plan may apply.
